Home renovation in Majadahonda

Comprehensive housing reform in Majadahonda -Madrid:

We have carried out the comprehensive renovation of an apartment in Majadahonda. It is a spacious apartment that had not been renovated in approximately the last 30 years. The owners were a couple who needed to update their home.

Since neither the kitchen nor the living room were very spacious, we decided to create an open space between them. This allowed us to create an open space that brought more light and spaciousness to the apartment.

In the kitchen they wanted to maintain a classic aesthetic and white tones. We used wood to gain warmth and we gave great importance to the use of indirect lights to achieve a warm and cozy atmosphere. We decided to keep the old herringbone parquet and expand it in the kitchen area, and thus unify spaces.

We maintained the original carpentry of the home, updating it to a contemporary style. We also included moldings on the walls of the stairs to unify the style of the rest of the home.

In the bedrooms, we opted for a minimalist and functional design, using light colors and soft textiles to create a feeling of tranquility. In addition, we install custom built-in wardrobes to make the most of the available space.
